Tucked away on the banks of the Murray River, this riverside retreat has been designed so you can simply arrive, breathe out and settle in. Built with restored with reclaimed materials, the retreat is designed to tread lightly on the landscape.

Mornings unfold slowly. Afternoons are shaped by choice rather than plans. Evenings invite long conversations, shared meals and moments that linger.

Every detail, from pantry essentials to outdoor spaces, has been thoughtfully curated to support rest, connection and enjoyment of the Riverland landscape.

Fully equipped kitchen with gas cooktop, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer
Pantry staples including Arrosto coffee pods, tea, local honey, olive oil, jams and more
Spacious bathroom with shower, flushing toilet, and eco-friendly toiletries
Loft bedrooms with skylights positioned for stargazing
Soft towels and robes for post-river or evening wind-downs

Parcoola Retreats is located on the Murray River at Overland Corner in the Riverland region of South Australia.
The closest towns are Barmera (20 minutes) and Waikerie (40 minutes with a ferry crossing).
This is a quiet stretch of river and the closest neighbours are your hosts who live on site 500m away. Due to the strategic placement of the retreat, complete privacy is provided.
Parcoola Retreats is a 3 hour drive from Adelaide or a 2 hour drive from Mildura (Victoria).
