  • Check-in is from 2pm, with full property access details provided in your confirmation email.

    Check-out is by 10am. Please leave the retreat as you found it, and report any damage or issues via text or a note left at the property.

    • Two-night minimum applies unless specified

    • Four-night minimum during Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods.

  • Yes! There is private parking for two cars at the villa, so you can relax knowing your vehicle is safe during your Riverland stay.

  • Yes. Reverse-cycle air conditioning keeps the villa comfortable year-round, and simple steps like closing blinds will help maintain temperature while you explore the Riverland outdoors.

  • Yes. The retreat is a self-contained boutique tiny villa set on its own riverfront property, surrounded by native gum trees for a peaceful and private retreat.

    There are no other cabins nearby & your hosts live 500 meters away.

  • Even thoug the retreat is a cozy tiny villa, there’s plenty of clever storage to keep your belongings organised. Use the wardrobe and under-stair drawers to unpack, then leave larger suitcases safely in your car if you prefer.

  • High-speed Wi-Fi is available. For mobile reception, Telstra generally provides the most reliable signal, while other carriers may experience occasional coverage gaps across the Riverland region.

  • This is a boutique tiny villa with loft bedrooms, stairs, and a small footprint. While the downstairs living area and bathroom are accessible, the loft bedrooms are reached by stairs, so it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility and is not suitable for wheelchairs.

  • While we love animals, we kindly ask that you leave pets at home to keep Flow serene for all guests.

  • Your stay includes:

  • Inside the Villa
    Our boutique tiny villa on the Murray River in South Australia’s Riverland, is thoughtfully equipped for your comfort:

    • Kitchen: Fully stocked for all your cooking needs, including gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, bakeware, utensils, fridge/freezer, cocktail accessories, and Nespresso pod machine.

    • Bedrooms & Bedding: Two queen-sized beds dressed in 100% flax linen from I Love Linen. Towels provided for bathing; bring extra for swimming in the river.

    • Bathroom: Spacious shower, flushing toilet, and eco-conscious toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, hand and body wash).

    • Climate & Comfort: Reverse-cycle air conditioning for heating and cooling. Please turn off when you’re out exploring to help the environment, and close blinds to keep the villa cool.

    • Living & Outdoor Access: Timber decking with seating and BBQ extends your living space outdoors, perfect for Riverland sunsets.

    Outside the Villa

    • Claw-foot Bath: Relax in the restored stone cottage bathtub with locally made bath salts overlooking the Murray River.

    • Fire Pit & Outdoor Fun: Wood supplied for your stay, chairs, lawn games, and a picnic rug for riverside relaxation.

    • Water Adventures: Two adult kayaks with life vests provided, so you can explore the Murray River at your own pace.

    The retreat offers a peaceful, boutique Riverland escape where indoor comfort and outdoor adventure combine for a truly memorable getaway.

  • Our kitchen is stocked with locally roasted Arrosto Nespresso pods, a selection of teas, raw sugar, marshmallows for the fire, Illalangi olive oil, salt, pepper, and of course, Vegemite — no Aussie home is complete without it!

    You’ll also find baking paper, foil, dishwashing liquid, paper towels, mosquito repellent, and a fully stocked first aid kit. Everything you need for a self-contained stay in the Riverland.

  • Due to fruit fly regulations, fresh fruit and vegetables can’t be brought into the Riverland. Quarantine bins are available at Blanchetown, Morgan, and Yamba for disposal. More information here.

    If you need to buy supplies:

    • Waikerie if travelling from Adelaide

    • Renmark if travelling from Mildura

    We also provide a complimentary breakfast hamper — enough for 2 people for two days, or 4 people for one day — along with a bottle of local Riverland wine to enjoy during your stay.

  • Yes! Families are welcome here.

    • The Murray River is 120m from the villa — please supervise children at all times.

    • Life jackets are recommended near the water.

    • Inside, you’ll find plastic plates, bowls, cups, and smaller cutlery for toddlers.

    • Porta cots and stair gates available on request. Porta cots can only be set up downstairs due to loft bedroom space.

    We have a range of in-house offerings you can add to your stay including massage and an in-house chef.

  • The retreat is nestled along the Murray River in the Riverland, just a 20-minute drive from Barmera. Renmark and Waikerie are also within easy reach for shops, cafes, and essentials.

    The Historic Overland Corner Hotel is a mere 5 minute drive.

    The Riverland is home to charming towns and local wineries. Barmera, Renmark, and Waikerie offer a range of cafes, restaurants, and cellar doors — and we’re happy to share our personal recommendations.

    Sustainability
    The tiny villa and the stone cottage are designed with a small footprint and sustainable materials. Reclaimed Oregon timber, restored stone, and a claw-foot bath saved from a community centre give character while treading lightly.

    • Rainwater Harvesting: Collected and filtered for bathing and drinking, with low-volume fittings throughout.

    • Energy: Electricity powers the retreat; gas is used for stovetop cooking and water heating. Solar may be introduced in the future.

    • Waste Management: Recycling, compostable cleaning products, and minimal single-use plastics.

  • Rescheduling a booking
    We encourage rescheduling rather than cancelling:

    • Date changes more than 14 days before arrival: no fee, subject to availability.

    • Date changes within 14 days: standard cancellation fees apply.

    • New booking date must be within 12 months.

    Cancelling a booking

    • More than 30 days before arrival: 50% refunded, 50% cancellation fee.

    • 30 days or less: no refund.

    • Peak periods (Dec–Jan, Easter, Public Holidays): all bookings are strictly non-refundable.
